We are happy to let you know that the preliminary session programme is now published on the conference website. In addition to our esteemed Keynote Speakers, the event programme will include over 100 different spoken paper presentations and more than 20 special sessions and futures workshops.

Sneak Peek at Some of the Forthcoming Sessions
- Case Studies on Food Production (Tue 4 June at 16:00–17:15)
In this session on uses of natural resources in food production we will learn about four different cases: 1) The agriculture in the Pampas of Argentina, 2) Agroecosystems of Matabeleland North Province of Zimbabwe, 3) Replacing commercial fish feed diet with on-farm inputs, and 4) Enhancing fisheries management through co-management and future studies. - Special Millennium Project Session on CLA (Thu 13 June at 13:00–14:30)
Helsinki Node for the global Millennium Project is organising a special session on ”Deconstructing Paradoxes of Work through CLA”. The session starts with a speech by Jerome Glenn, CEO of the Millennium Project and is followed by a panel discussion chaired by Helsinki Node Co-Chairs Sirkka Heinonen and Osmo Kuusi. - Analysing Data and Creating Scenarios (Fri 14 June at 9:00–10:30)
In this session we will learn about case studies on analysing data and creating scenarios: 1) Spatial-based design scenarios, 2) Scenarios for the Lower Rio Negro, Brazilian Amazonia in 2040, 3) Co-producing SSP-based socioeconomic extensions to inform planning for regional climate change in Finland, and 4) AI assisted profiling based on future oriented action intentions.

Registration is open until 3 June 2024: Registration for the conference ends on Monday 3 June. We encourage you to reserve your seat well in advance and also to start planning and booking your travelling as soon as possible. Do make your hotel reservation asap as well, since the city of Turku will be fully booked due to a number of different events in June 2024. > Read more and register
